The name of our company can mean many different things: 1. the hope that a cure
for breast cancer will be found before the disease recurs in someone you love; 2.
the hope that breast cancer will never directly affect your family; 3. the hope
that all women - sisters in the general sense - will join together to conquer
breast cancer.
Whatever it means for you, let that definition guide you.
A Sister's Hope became reality in the summer of 2006 after three years of
dreams and plans. The company's mission is to create and produce events that will raise substantial funds crucial for breast cancer research, services needed by those
who are dealing with breast cancer and programs that will improve proper
diagnosis.

Since February 1999, when my sister was diagnosed, I have been a senior staff member of many
successful breast cancer fundraising campaigns, helping to raise millions of dollars for organizations in the United States. I also was a walker on five events, spending many unforgettable hours training and gathering thousands of dollars in donations. The time arrived to do
something more.
In 2007, a Chicago two-day breast cancer walk raised more than $8 million and had some 3,600 participants. The first Holland walk raised more than 530,000 euros with less than 300 participants. The 2008 Holland event promises to be amazing! With some corporate sponsor participation, there really is no limit to what can be accomplished.
